Early in 2004...

Carolina had just graduated and gotten her first job. She’s ready to find someone to share her life with, but it doesn’t seem to be that easy…

Adam was just out of a relationship and looking to meet some new friends and find someone to share his life with. Because he’s always on the computer he joined J-Date, the Jewish dating website and was chatting with other Jewish women all over the world.

February 2004...

Carolina decided to join J-Date, the Jewish dating website her friend June keeps talking about… she didn’t believe much in online dating… but it didn’t hurt to try…

Adam was in L.A. visiting a friend and enjoying the new single life style. On a Saturday night, as Adam waits for his friend to get ready to leave, he jumps on J-Date. Carolina is just signing up and looking to see who she would be interested in on the website. In the middle of the few meaningless conversations she was having , this guy comes along and says “Hey, I’m out of town, but I’ll be back tomorrow. I don’t like this IM crap… so, give me a call tomorrow and lets talk. Here is my number…

The next day...

The next day was Super Bowl Sunday and, not having much to lose, Carolina thought hhmmm… I guess I should give him a call. That was the first of many hour long conversations about life and future… After 3 days of having these conversations, we couldn’t wait to meet each other. So, we went out for some Sushi and Bowling and had a wonderful time together. From that point, our commitment to each other was made and we knew that the caring and companionship we shared wasn’t something just anyone could have…. It didn’t take long for us to find out that we couldn’t live without each other.

The next year...

The next year was full of love, companionship, caring, togetherness, every day. Each day we have more assurance that we are for each other. But it wasn’t until July 2005 that Adam took courage to take the big step and propose to Carolina. He already knew the answer. And, even though she was expecting it eventually, it was the best surprise she ever had on a beautiful afternoon in Half-Moon Bay.

Now...

Now, here we are, planning our big day and hoping that all of you can help us celebrate our love story…

"Together in an ever lasting life
of love and friendship."

"Juntos para uma vida de
eterno amor e amizade."
